I have a B.A. in English Literature from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and an M.A. in the same subject from Concordia University in Montreal. Driven by a wide-ranging curiosity, I have written professionally for magazines, newspapers, insurance companies, municipal governments, design blogs, and more since 2012. Now based in Vancouver, BC, my recent creative projects include a semi-autobiographical half-hour comedy pilot about weed-whacking called The Whippers, (Filmmatic TV Pilot Awards semi-finalist) and a romantic comedy about canoeing called Camp Lovebird. I used to edit the Hootsuite Blog, where I brought an editorial eye to the science of SEO and produced a web series called Fridge-Worthy.
